The payout limit, the leg limit and the smallest stake
Short answer. Every sportsbook limits what one parlay ticket can pay, by capping the payout or by limiting your stake, and the figure differs by book. The lowest book-wide figure a book states or enforces is about $235,000 at DraftKings. The highest per-wager limit on Parlotto's list is $2,500,000 at theScore Bet, but the figures are different kinds of limit (a payout cap, a stake limit, a daily limit and Parlotto's own build ceiling), so they are not a ranking. A bigger limit is not a bigger prize: Parlotto builds no ticket for more than $1,000,000. The table gives every book's figure, where it comes from, its leg limit, its smallest stake and its rule for a ticket that would pay more.
| Book | Payout limit | Over the cap | Legs | Smallest stake |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| DraftKings Welcome bonus | About $235,000 Read off the slip, not stated by the book | Stake limited before the bet is taken | 20 | $0.10 |
| FanDuel Welcome bonus | $1,000,000 From the book's rules or slip | Clipped to the cap | 15 (assumed) | $0.09 |
| BetMGM Welcome bonus | Not published Parlotto builds to $100,000, a working assumption | Stake limited before the bet is taken | 15 (assumed) | $0.10 |
| Hard Rock Bet Welcome bonus | $1,000,000 Parlotto's own build ceiling | Not published | 20 | $0.20 |

A figure marked about is read off the book's own slip, which the book does not state. A figure marked as Parlotto's own build ceiling is the prize Parlotto builds to for that book. A working assumption is the ceiling Parlotto builds to where the book publishes no payout figure. A daily limit counts what one customer can win in a day, so it does not limit one ticket. A leg limit marked assumed is the limit Parlotto builds to, not one the book states. Parlotto last checked these figures between September 11, 2026 and October 5, 2026.
BetRivers pays UFC at $25,000, EPL at $50,000 and MLS at $40,000, not its $250,000 book-wide cap. A ticket that mixes sports is held to the lowest cap among them.
A parlay priced past a book's limit earns nothing extra. Parlotto builds each ticket toward the biggest payout the book allows and stays under the line where going over could cost the ticket. Books can change their limits at their own discretion, so check the book's own rules in your state before you stake. Welcome bonuses by book covers the offers.
On Parlotto's list, the highest per-wager limit is $2,500,000 at theScore Bet. But the figures are different kinds of limit (a payout cap, a stake limit, a daily limit and Parlotto's own build ceiling), so they are not a ranking, and a bigger limit is not a bigger prize: Parlotto builds a ticket at theScore Bet for $1,000,000 at most, not $2,500,000.
A cap limits what a book can owe on a single ticket. Books state it in their rules or enforce it at the slip, and they can change it.
Only up to the cap. Beyond it, extra legs add risk without adding payout.
The table gives one figure per book, and Parlotto lists no state-specific cap for these books. Books can still change their limits at their own discretion, so treat the table as a snapshot and confirm in the book's own rules.
